That map also shows quite a few of our favorite area flying locations and will be updated with the locations and routes for cross country adventures and alternate launch sites for many different skill levels.
What about when you aren’t flying? The historic Chalet Suzanne sets the stage for a truly amazing escape from the frigid North. Founded in 1931, the Chalet offers 28 guest rooms, a handful of RV slots with full hookups AND plenty of primitive camping sites available. In addition, they have a Golden Spoon Hall of Fame restaurant and will be setting up a special poolside BBQ for lunch meals for our event.
You will be given the amazing opportunity to fly over the glorious Florida sky as well as enjoy the facilities offered at the Chalet Suzanne. Volleyball, horseshoes, bird-watching, shopping at the gift shop and ceramic shop, swimming and fishing. Are just a few of the many activities you can participate in during your time. There is also 70 acres for walking, cycling and jogging. You can visit the History House museum, and tour the Soup Cannery (their soups went to the moon on the Apollo missions!).
Wings Over Winter is the perfect getaway for all paragliding pilots. The temperature is expected to range from 70 – 80 degrees for the full month of November. This will be an incredible event for paramotoring.
